Events play a really important role in many of our campaigns. We kicked off yesterday morning with a PR roundtable with our client Outbrain – the topic of the discussion was is paid media is as valuable as earned media in today’s PR world? Or are we as PR agencies slow to realise and understand how beneficial paid media can be to our clients? Opinions were mixed but one thing that we can agree on is that the PR industry still continues to grow and change at a rapid rate.
Once discussions where finished (and breakfast was eaten!) Roxanne and I spent the day working at PRCA offices because in the evening we were hosting a pre-Christmas drinks event with our lovely clients CoPilot.
A brilliant group of tech journalists and bloggers came along to create their best Christmas cocktails during our mixology class – some were definitely made a lot stronger than the recommended measures, but we won’t be naming and shaming!
