One of the ways in which we do this is to conduct a Positioning and Messaging Workshop with you to help teams define and agree the key points they wish to convey to both internal and external audiences. From agreeing the organisation’s ‘elevator pitch’ through to clarifying the foundation statements or ‘key messages’ about the business, this workshop is an excellent way to reach agreement and consensus on one of the cornerstones of any PR campaign.

One of the key outputs from such a session is a ‘Messaging Matrix’. This is designed to serve as a brief reference document which consolidates key messages and helps to translate these into a ‘sound bites’ format which will have appeal for external audiences. The third and final element of the Messaging Matrix are ‘proof points’ which we research from both within your organisation and through conducting our own desk research to include facts and figures to back up what it is that’s being said and the proof that establishes your business as a credible commentator and contributor to the debate.
